A major boost for inclusive education! Eswatini has secured a JPY 103 million (E12 million) grant from the Government of Japan to procure four universally accessible school buses that will support learners with disabilities across all four regions.
The grant agreement was signed today at The George Hotel in Manzini, marking a significant step toward reducing dropout rates and empowering every child with the right to safe, reliable transport. The initiative, supported through JICA, also includes specialised training for drivers and technicians to ensure sustainability and dignity for all learners.
